# The Tree of Magic

Power hums from every fiber of your being, and the closer you get to the ancient Tree of Magic, the more you feel its power pulsing through you. There are no words to describe the sensation. The power is limitless; it is ineffable.

Standing firm around the tree in specific locations are the High Guardians, Wizards of extraordinary power tasked with the protection of Planet Crypton itself. They stand in arcane runic circles around the tree in specific locations, chanting spells constantly, containing the power of the Tree within Te Kore. If they did not, it would consume Crypton.

### **The High Guardians**

·       **Evys Aura** – master of Evocation, she is one of the most powerful Wizards on Crypton, second only, perhaps, to Ashaan herself. Sister of Arnas Aura.

·       **Orphea Dawn** – master of Conjuration, she manipulates the elements, chaining the power of the tree within.

·       **Ozora Langardia** – master of Alchemy, he crafts elixirs and concoctions to assist the High Guardians in surviving the perils of Te Kore.

·       **Kaia Maat** – master of Enchantment, she uses spells that enhance the abilities of all of the High Guardians.

·       **Arnas Aura** – master of Inscription, his knowledge of Te Kore is second to none, including that of the Lore Master himself. Brother of Evys Aura.

Each of the five High Guardians are representatives of their schools of magic, though all are masters of more than one. A Wizard is allowed into the Inner Ring only once, and that is for the sacred ritual to obtain their dragon companion from the sanctum beneath the tree.
