## About Dawn of Crypton

**Dawn of Crypton (DoC)** is an idle game developed within Unreal Engine 5 that will provide players with the opportunity to gather resources and other valuable items ahead of the release of Cosmic Universe.

There are two major aspects of DoC with some smaller microgames to entertain players. The first major aspect is the **Profession Expeditions**, a way for both characters and land to be utilized where players can begin earning resources and materials for their chosen profession. The second major part of DoC is **Elven Adventures** where players will be able to level up professions on their Elves in a similar fashion as they did with Wizards. However, the rewards will be a variety of other rewards, most of which will be tokenized game assets (NFTs) usable within our upcoming MMORPG.

There is also an **Item Shop** on the map where players can pick up tools, potions, and other items to help their questing using MAGICK, as well as Mysterious Relics (earned through Elven Adventures) and Contribution Tokens. Players will be able to trade in their resources to fulfill bundles at the **Town Planner,** where they can be rewarded with skins for tools, titles, artifacts, cosmetic items rewards. Finally, DoC will offer a variety of **Microgames** where players can test their skill and luck against other players, wagering MAGICK for a chance at winning!

### Playing Requirements

To play Dawn of Crypton, players will need an Android mobile device or a Windows laptop or desktop (separate mouse recommended), as well as a Wizard or Elf NFT, along with a Land NFT and a small amount of USDC for gas on Avalanche C-Chain. An Elf NFT will be required to unlock the full spectrum of rewards within Dawn of Crypton. Our $MAGICK token will also be needed in small amounts.&#x20;

**Note:** Elves NFTs can still be minted [here](https://marketplace.cosmicuniverse.io/mint). Secondary sales of Elves can be found on OpenSea [here](https://opensea.io/collection/cu-cosmic-elves) prior to migration to Base.
