The Feather Staff was first sighted in shops in Enchanteria without anyone knowing who created it. Slowly, more and more of the staves began circulating throughout the city and the island. Rumors spread around who could have created it without anyone knowing, and most seemed to settle on one of the Grandmasters of the wizard schools. However, nothing ever confirmed this.

The staff itself was made with a shiny brass shaft that is enchanted to be impossible to corrode. The head of the staff fanned out to have wings, molded with the same brass but painted purple. Adorning the top of the staff and acting as its focus is the feather. Finely crafted from sapphire, it is impossible to tell without testing it if it is crystal or a true feather.

So delicate, it is a wonder it does not snap off whenever it is used, and that led examiners to the conclusion that it was protected with some kind of spell of unknown power and origin. Less than two hundred of these staves exist.
