# Reddish Brown Staff

![](/files/Hr16iD7eDf1rYnIGUaKu)

Despite his less-than-creative naming of his creations, Galymun Holt crafted another widely used staff in the Reddish Brown Staff. Even with its generic-sounding name, this staff is one of his more prestigious designs. The shaft is wood but coated in ruby crystals that were melted down and remolded over the staff.

Because of its crystalized shaft, the entire staff has become a conduit for magical energy and connects the wielder to the Aether shard more easily. Due to being wielded by the Grandmaster of the School of Conjuration, this staff gained popularity and is highly sought after. With the scarcity of ruby crystals, less than four hundred of these were created and remain amongst Wizardkind. A fine work of art by Galymun.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://info.cosmicuniverse.io/lore/cosmic-parchments/wizard-staves/reddish-brown-staff.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
