# Star Crescent Staff

![](/files/RxuRGiRtH8EUBvkZvZUQ)

With her previous experience working with gold, Luna Lumina had another idea for a more elegantly styled staff. She thought of the Star Crescent Staff while stargazing in the Forest of Whimsy. She immediately began harvesting the required materials for her new staff. The idea, as far as rumors go, was to emulate the mystical night sky and express the passing of time.

She chose gold as the sole resource for the new design due to her knowledge of the material and the beauty of the metal. The difficulty with this staff was creating it without a crystal to be used as the focus, which was standard practice amongst Staff-makers.

To overcome this Luna exerted some of her own magical power into each of the almost four hundred staves she made. Once the staves had been created, she was left nearly powerless and receded from all renown and knowledge in the Staff-making community. It is said she lives the quiet life now, but no one knows where.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://info.cosmicuniverse.io/lore/cosmic-parchments/wizard-staves/star-crescent-staff.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
