Wooden Staff

The Wooden Staff is a long staff, crafted from the oak trees found in the Enchanted Forest. The simple Wooden Staff still has the ability to act as a conduit for the power of the Aether Shard. The oak is carved into a twisted shape and sanded smooth. In order for the staff to retain its look, the Alchemists of Enchanteria created an Oil of Protection to keep it from wearing out. The decorative leaves that adorn the shaft are also coated in this oil and remain eternally green.

The large crystal that resides in the head of the staff acts as the focus for a Wizard's power, and is sufficient for that purpose. No Wizard is ashamed to have such a staff. However, it was also mass-produced, which means that many Wizards have one, making it one of the least sought-after staffs. This staff model was pioneered by Galymun Holt, who was by no means a master craftsman, but managed to produce a lovely piece that many male Wizards purchased. This made him quite a wealthy Wizard, and he now owns and lives on a farm just outside of Enchanteria. Females Wizards, known for their selective taste in staves, do not bother using the Wooden staff at all.
