# Golden Staff

The tale of the creation of the Golden staves is certainly not one for the faint of heart. The staff itself was straightforward enough to make, as far as master craftsmanship goes, that is. The handle and casing for the crystal are made from a gold alloy. The blending of gold and platinum into a single malleable metal was masterfully designed into the balanced and beautiful staff that it is.

The dangerous part of the design was the crystal that is used as the focus. At the time of its construction, there were no known sources of Citrine on the surface of Crypton as there is now, and so the designer of the staff had to innovate. White crystal was abundant throughout Cosmic Island and so was gold.

The designer, Luna Lumina, wanted a golden crystal to go with the golden staff. Therefore, she collected enough of each and tried multiple ways to fuse the metal and crystal into one. However, nothing worked. Eventually, she brought them to her dragon who carefully fused them together while Gertrude held the pieces steady.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://info.cosmicuniverse.io/lore/cosmic-parchments/wizard-staves/golden-staff.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
