Descriptions of the different regions on the islands and planets of Cosmic Universe

The genesis planet within Cosmic Universe is Crypton, named for its connection with cryptocurrency.
The genesis island of Crypton is Cosmic Island, homeland of Cosmic Wizards, the Tree of Magic, the City of Enchanteria, and the Cosmic Enchanters.
There are four major regions on Cosmic Island:
Mystic Alpines
Elysian Fields
Forest of Whimsy
Enchanted Forest
The second island to reveal its secrets is Aelfaria, homeland of Cosmic Elves, the City of Areovale, and numerous unique landscapes, together with two mysterious isles.
There are seven major regions on Aelfaria:
The Summerland
Forest of Songs
Forest of Dreams
Yara Mountains
Tropicaia
Isle of Delights
Arcane Isle
In addition, there are also two large bodies of water, Avae Lake and Arael Lake
Spanning almost the entire length of Cosmic Island, the Mystic Alpines peaks can be seen from everywhere on the island. Caught in a permanent, magical winter, there is always snow covering these mountains.
The mountains have long been a source of ore and stone from the many caves and mines that have developed over the years. In more recent times, scholars have started to discover archaeological artifacts and crystal formations have also developed on the wintry slopes.
The highest mountain in the range is Mount Kori, located right in the center of the range. The snow that melts from Mount Kori flows down into Ambrosia Lake, picking up magical energy along the way that infuses the water with power.
It is said that a powerful wizard makes his home underneath Mount Kori and manipulates the weather to create a perpetual winter wonderland. To the north, the mountain's runoff creates the Cosmic Falls.
These massive waterfalls are said to hold mystical qualities that only the most skilled wizards can absorb. Yetis are known to visit these falls frequently when they visit Cosmic Island from their native Yeti Island.
Covering the largest land area of the island, the Elysian Fields are full of peaceful meadows dotted with colorful flowers, with a peppering of smaller trees and shrubs, as well as plentiful hemp fields. Wizards who are looking for a quiet life tend to make their homes in the southern Elysian Fields where small hamlets and farms dominate the area.
Those who are looking for a more exciting life gravitate to the northern side of the Fields where landowners are enticed by the closeness of the magical forests and travelers are more frequent. Here, you might more frequently come across raucous inns and amusement attractions.
An adventurer will enjoy this area immensely. As it is the most abundant land on the island, it is more accessible for the Wizards who live there. With the ease of access to all parts of the island, the Fields are extremely well placed and well priced. Large developments will no doubt take place here. Ravers and Felines tend to be found in the Fields most frequently and are usually the cause of most impromptu parties.
The southern shores of the Elysian Fields take on quite a tropical look and feel, with sprawling white, sandy beaches lined with towering palm trees. It’s an area known for its many resorts and laidback lifestyle.
At the far northern reaches of the island lies a deeply magical forest. The second most magical place on the island holds many secrets underneath its crystal canopy. The trees in this area hum with the pure magical energy that courses through them. Some wizards sit in front of these trees for days at a time, swearing that if you sit long enough you can hear them speak to you.
Trees of every color of the rainbow radiate light all through the forest, showcasing their brilliance even at night time. The forest borders are small in comparison to the Enchanted Forest. However, it stretches from the East Coast of the island all the way to the west at the foothills of the Mystic Alpines range.
There is an old folk story told of the crystal forest’s creation. As the story goes, the Tree of Magic altered the land of the island to give it magical properties, and as the magic spread, one wizard decided to make an entire forest of magical trees. He took a single seed from the Tree of Magic and planted it in the North. He camped out that night under the stars, not knowing yet just what he had created. Upon nightfall, a star fell and broke up on the island. Its dust, along with the newly planted seed of the Tree of Magic, caused the forest to spring into existence overnight. In the morning, to his surprise, the wizard awoke to a crystal forest…the Forest of Whimsy.
The winding paths of the Enchanted Forest provide views for some of the most stunning scenery on the island. Many wizards come to the forest purely to walk beneath its leaves and listen to the peaceful silence.
Rolling hills are sprinkled through the forest, and when there’s a gap in the trees the view of the Mystic Alpines in the far distance is astonishing. Many alchemists come to the forest for the reagents required for their potions.
Mushrooms of all shapes, sizes, and colors grow at the base of the huge trees. The forest provides an everlasting supply of wood for the island. The trees grow back almost as quickly as they could be harvested. Wizards discovered that if certain mushrooms were eaten at the right time in a wizard’s training, there could be otherworldly effects enjoyed.
There is a story of an unnamed wizard who discovered this trait and began the trend of rainbow-colored hair. Wizards who want to become experts in the magic of nature spend their days wandering the trails in the forest and many settle on the land to live there. If you are visiting for the first time, be warned – the forest paths can be confusing. Hire a guide!
